AizaMD Patient Rounding — Ambient inpatient documentation, coming soon

Patient Rounding is the next module landing in AizaMD. It extends the ambient SOAP pipeline already powering outpatient documentation to the inpatient setting — admission History & Physical plus daily Progress Notes, with hospital-day labeling, NP/RN cosign workflows, and a Note Navigator timeline. It plugs directly into Patient List.

What's coming

Admission HMP

Author the admission History & Physical through the same ambient pipeline you already use for outpatient visits. The HMP captures chief complaint, active problems, and admit medications as a structured snapshot tied to the inpatient encounter — so the first day of every admission has a clean baseline to round against.

Daily Progress Notes

A new Progress Note for each hospital day. The Note Navigator on the right rail surfaces every prior day's note in a timeline, so you can move between hospital days without losing your place or scrolling through a single growing document.

Cosign workflow

NP, APP, and resident-authored notes route to the supervising physician for co-signature. The same cosign-core powering existing AizaMD note workflows handles the assignment, content lock, audit trail, and pending-cosign worklist.

Plugs directly into Patient List

Click a patient row in Patient List today and you hit a "Patient Rounding coming soon" placeholder. After this launch, that click loads the live rounding surface for the encounter, with the Round Status chip on the census row updating in real time as notes are signed.
