Introducing AI-RCM: AI-Assisted Revenue Cycle Management
AI-RCM is the newest SaveLife.AI product: a revenue-cycle layer that starts working before the claim is submitted. It checks documentation, coding, eligibility, and prior authorization, predicts denial risk, and collects the patient balance. Every outcome feeds back, so future claims get cleaner over time.
What's new
Pre-submit intelligence
AI-RCM catches issues while the claim is still fixable, not after a denial. Clinical Documentation Integrity screens the note for gaps, the coding engine assigns curated codes, and Charge Audit reconciles the note against the claim lines before the claim goes out.
Curated, traceable coding
Every code comes from curated reference data and is deterministic and traceable. The AI only extracts concepts from the note and helps break ties between candidate codes. It never invents codes.
The denial loop
When a denial lands, the Denial Copilot classifies it, drafts an appeal, and proposes a scrubber rule. Your staff approve the rule before it applies, so the next claim goes out cleaner. Nothing changes future claims without a human.
A voice agent for the front desk
An inbound voice agent handles routine appointment and insurance-verification calls, with a hard identity-verification gate and immediate escalation to staff for complex cases. It verifies coverage and reads back copay through the EHR connector. It does not edit the policy.
How it works
One coded encounter flows across the billing flow on a shared timeline: capture the clinical truth, make the charges reflect it, clear authorization, get the claim paid, fight denials, collect the patient balance, and measure and learn. Structured payer traffic runs on standard EDI rails, with browser and desktop agents filling only what portals and desktop EHRs expose that EDI cannot.
All performance figures are design targets, not guarantees.
Security and compliance
AI-RCM inherits the platform HITRUST CSF Certified, HIPAA Compliant posture: a Zero-Trust architecture, AES-256 at rest, and TLS 1.3 in transit. Your clinical data is not training data. Learned rules are staff-approved, voice eligibility work is read-only, patient outreach is TCPA and FDCPA gated, and payments store tokens only, never raw card numbers.
